This document primary usages are:

A survey of the project situation and understanding from each team members
To collect in a structured manner team members’ own comprehension of the current project situation
To develop and acknowledge a collective understanding of the current project situation
To identify solution paths and possible outcomes
To identify risks/opportunities on the short term

All these under a simple PowerPoint Presentation as communication mechanism for the Team.
