Property Rights
Is there is someone who are aware if it's possible for EPIC Team to acquire the property rights of I-War2 ?
I dug into this back when Argonaught went bust (argonaught sheffield are what was particle systems), essentially we'd need to find someone within Atari europe (which was infogrames), they might be able to let us redistribute the existing binaries + data. but i wasn't able to find out who the rights holders of origonal source code are, and even if it still exists. Stephen Robertson has the pog source code, but last i heard he didn't want to/couldn't redistribute it. -- jasper 2007-11-26 03:39:38
I've read recently a post from Stephen Robertson about plans for an I-War3 based on the same engine of I-War2. The author suggests these plots could be available and eventually provided... food for thoughts
